ULTRA SKY TRAIL
100 km – For experienced trail runners, wanting to enjoy alpine trails
100 km route will allow you to discover some more alpine trails in the area od Julian Alps. You’ll start your trail running journey in Radovljica, run by the world-famous Lake Bled and then through some peaks with stunning views to Upper Sava Valley to the finish line in Kranjska Gora. There will be more than enough breathtaking views of Julian Alps, some stunning Austrian peaks and mountain valleys.
You start in Radovljica and then after a few kilometers along Sava river you already have the first climb ahead – towards plateau Jelovica. You’ll run through the immense forests and make your way to Babji Zob, where you’ll already see your next goal – Bled. The descent from Babji zob is quite steep so you’ll quickly reach the world-famous lake. Then the way leads you along the southern part of the lake, where’ll you’ll enjoy stunning views of the castle and the tiny island. Along the gorge and then towards the biggest climb of your race – there is 1700 meters of elevation gain waiting for you from Žirovnica towards Stol.
All your hard effort will be more than worth it, as you’ll run along one of the most stunning Slovenian mountain ridges once you reach your highest goal. From Stol, along Golica, Hruški vrh and towards Dovška baba – almost 30 kilometers of incredible trails right at the top of the ridge.
Then you’ll descend towards the valley, where you’ll see river Sava again. But no worries, as there is one more climb waiting for you – towards Srednji vrh, where you’ll enjoy one of the most breath-taking views of Julian Alps. Then you only have 5 kilometers of descent left and you’ll be at the finish line in Kranjska Gora.

Runners, when planning to check out the route, please make sure you’re only using marked paths and are mindful of warning signs about wood harvesting. Be careful when crossing pastures and be mindful about animals’ behaviour. Always keep your dogs leashed when crossing such areas. Make sure the only print you leave on the trails is the one coming from your shoes. Pick up your trash and always carry poop bags for your dogs.

Minimum number of runners is 5 (from whichever distance).
Group registration price per runner is 15% (10 km, 15 km, 25 km, 60 km) or 10 % (100 km, 170 km) lower than individual registrations.
We kindly ask all groups NOT to register into the system until you get a group registration code. You first have to fill out the table, which you can download to your computer, send it back to us through e-mail and then you’ll receive further instructions.

Water reserve for the time between aid stations (1L)

* BIB number must be placed at the front of your body, to your t-shirt or a belt
* You need to bring your own drinking cup (15 cL minimum). There will be no plastic cups at aid stations, so each runner must provide their own.
*Additional batteries for your head lamp – you must carry additional batteries or an additional head lamp.
* Hooded jacket. The jacket must have a hood and must be waterproof.
* Basic first aid kit, which must have at least one or two gauzes, one elastic bandage and a packet of plasters.
* Long trousers or leggings, which fully cover your skin.
* Additional warm middle layer, which covers your arms in full.
Time limit for finishing this route is thirty (30) hours.
