Entries for JA Trail 2020 are open!

Discover the magnificent world of high mountains in the Julian Alps and explore hidden gems around Kranjska Gora.

The city of Kranjska Gora and its surroundings offer everything that trail running stands for – mountain paths, where easy and runnable terrains intertwine and sometimes surprise you with more technical ones. But not only that – you’ll also be able to experience many stunning alpine valleys during your run at Julian Alps Trail Run.

We’ve prepared a wider choice of routes for our second edition. We want the run to be an even bigger challenge for our runners and we want you to cross the finish line with an even bigger smile than last year. We’re offering improved or new routes for experienced runners, which for sure won’t leave you indifferent. Sometimes your breath will be taken due to tough terrain, and another time due to stunning views. All those, still getting to know trail running, will still be able to enjoy stunning views, but won’t have to deal with as tough terrain.

You can choose between three registration deadlines  – the cheapest entries are available until February 20th and we’re also offering group registrations – you have to gather five friends (who can register for different routes) and shoot us an e-mail to receive additional information. Runners at 10, 15, 30 and 65 km receive a 15 % discount for group registrations and those signing up for 100 or 170 km receive a 10 % discount

AATC Trail Running Camp at idyllic locations in Tolmin and Kranjska Gora has it all – beautiful single trails, technical Julian Alps terrains and stunning alpine valleys with rivers and lakes, which are a great source of after run refreshment.
Today we put together some advice and ideas for your meals before and after training. But let's not forget – food consumption times are a much less important factor for recreational runners. It's much more important to reach a sufficient energy and nutrition input during the whole day.
Even though the race season is currently on hold due to the epidemic, we are still giving you an alternative in the Alpe Adria Trail Cup. We invite you to prepare with us for the times when we can run together again in nature.
